What is included in the ILScorp CAIB® 3 exam preparation course registration?
The CAIB® 3 exam preparation course is an online video course with 6 Chapters with end of chapter quizzes. There is also a downloadable PDF workbook and key term flash cards, a mock midterm and a mock final exam included in the course.
What is included in the ILScorp CAIB® 4 exam preparation course registration?
The CAIB® 4 exam preparation course is an online video course with 10 Chapters with end of chapter quizzes. There is also a downloadable PDF workbook, a mock midterm and a mock final exam included in the course.
Does the $349 price include all 4 CAIB® courses?
No. The cost of a single CAIB® exam preparation course is $349.00 plus tax
How long will a course take?
It is up to the individual to devote time to the ILScorp CAIB® exam preparation courses. However, we recommend that you plan on spending a minimum of 80 to 120 hours within a study course to be fully prepared to challenge the licensing exam.
How long are the videos for the online courses?
The length of time of the videos for the CAIB® exam preparation courses, not including the time it may take for taking the chapter questions and quizzes and practice exams, are as follows.
CAIB® 1: Approximately 9 ½ hours
CAIB® 2: Approximately 6 hours
CAIB® 3: Approximately 4 ½ hours
CAIB® 4: Approximately 5 hours
How long is the access for the CAIB® exam preparation courses?
The CAIB® exam preparation courses are available for 4 months access from the date of purchase.
How can I extend the course?
A 1 time only extension for the course can be purchased for 1 month for $209.00 plus tax. The extension for the course must be purchased before the last date of access; the extension will be added to the course from the original last date of access.

How the CAIB® exam preparation courses work
- Once you purchase, you can begin taking your course immediately! If you are a new subscriber, you will receive an automated username and password by email.
- All material is viewed online. All you need is an internet connection!
- Your course can be accessed any time. You can log in and log out as many times as you wish, pause, rewind and review, unlimited access for 4 months.
- Quizzes and Final exams are offered in most of our courses to help you retain the information.
- Once you feel prepared to write your CAIB® exam, you must contact your Insurance Council, or in BC the Brokers Association to book your exam.

Who is the instructor for the course?
The ILScorp CAIB® exam preparation courses combines the dynamic instruction of Todd Hochban with the ease and convenience of online learning. Each course contains streaming video, and is divided into easy-to-manage chapters. Each chapter includes video clips of the instructor along with easy to read text. Numerous exercises and mock exams help to reinforce knowledge retention.
What about CAIB® continuing education credit?
Manitoba CAIB® Rules
With the successful completion of the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB®) course and examination with IBAM first time licensees are exempt from the required 8 Continuing Education credit hours for the upcoming renewal period only (you must obtain a licence within the same licence year that you completed the examination). You are required to accumulate 8 credit hours for each licensing year thereafter.
For existing licensees or applicants who wish to reinstate their licence within the 12-month period, all CAIB® courses are worth 12 Continuing Education credit hours.
How do I get started with a CAIB® exam preparation course?
