Les objectifs du cours sont les suivants:

  • Présenter aux étudiants le sujet des cyber-risques, ainsi que la façon dont ils menacent les entreprises et les industries;
  • Présenter aux étudiants les problèmes liés aux cyber-risques ainsi que les conseils que les experts donnent dans le but de provoquer une prise de conscience à ce sujet.
  • Provoquer une prise de conscience auprès des étudiants en ce qui concerne les différents types de cyber-crimes, les genres de piratage courants, et les gens impliqués;
  • Provoquer une prise de conscience en ce qui concerne les pertes possibles et leur effet sur les entreprises concernées.
  • Présenter des exemples de cas afin d’aider à la prise de conscience en ce qui concerne le cyber-crime et les modèles qui ont été observés;
  • Renseigner les étudiants sur les façons de gérer les risques.

Un aperçu de la terminologie, des conditions et des lois liées à ce sujet est également inclu.
