Farm Insurance
A farm insurance policy, not unlike a home insurance policy, has personal lines which refer to protection of the dwelling and personal property. Because a farm is also a business, the policy is amended to also include coverage for property that pertains to the business of farming. Farmers need this hybrid policy to protect both their residence and their livelihood.
Purpose
The purpose of this course is to familiarize insurance professionals with the unique features of these hybrid policies and prepare them to competently serve clients seeking farm insurance information and protection.
