ILScorp has released 3 new online RIBO Ethics courses for Ontario licensee’s 2020 RIBO CE requirements.
Each new course is approved for 2 RIBO CE credit hours.
Although the 2020 RIBO Ethics CE requirement is a minimum of 1 hour, RIBO allows a carry-over of one term’s requirements. So, you can complete an ILScorp 2-hour RIBO Ethics CE course and use 1 hour for 2020 and carry the remaining Ethic CE hour over for 2021’s requirements.

Ethics and the Insurance Professional Part 1 = 2 RIBO Ethics CE
Insurance brokers are faced with a variety of ethical decisions every day, in their dealings with clients, insurance companies and other brokerage staff. This three-part video course is designed to help insurance professionals better understand the ethical conflicts they may face in their business dealings.
Part One of this series of insurance industry ethics courses deals with a discussion of what ethics is and the ethical values that are considered to be requisite traits of an ethical person.
This online video training course also discusses how in your job as an insurance broker, your personal values may be in conflict with those of the management in your brokerage.
Finally, you will be provided with approximately 30 scenarios that call for you to make a decision on how you would have acted in that situation. Your answer will then be evaluated as to whether that behaviour was ethical.

Insurance brokers are faced with a variety of ethical decisions every day, in their dealings with clients, insurance companies and other brokerage staff. This three-part video course is designed to help insurance professionals better understand the ethical conflicts they may face in their business dealings.
Part Two of this series of insurance training ethics courses provides a review of the theory pertaining to the study of ethics as discussed in Part One.
Another 30 scenarios will call for you to make a decision on how you would have acted in that situation. Your answer will then be evaluated as to whether that behaviour was ethical.

Part Three of this online video series of ethics courses presents another 30 scenarios, for you to make a decision on how you would have acted in that situation. Your answer will then be evaluated as to whether that behaviour was ethical, as in Parts 1 and 2.
RIBO Ethics CE are subjects relating to the rules or standards that govern decisions on a daily basis. Topics examine ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that arise in a business environment, such as recognizing and managing situations that could result in a conflict or potential conflict with the professional and legal obligations to the consumer.
