COURTENAY, BC, November 13, 2007Today ilscorp.com, in conjunction with SGI CANADA, announced the launch of a comprehensive video training series for SGI CANADA’s Agro Pak Policy. The 12-course series, available in streaming video, is the first comprehensive training program developed for a specific insurance product in Canada. Users have the option of taking the courses in the streaming video format or in the complete and comprehensive text format.
Each video course follows the format of a broker and customer conversation. “Not only do the courses provide comprehensive technical information,” said Ken MacRae, CEO of ilscorp.com. “But they also show how that information is applied in a real-life setting.” “From a broker point of view, they get to see some of the questions a customer might have about an SGI CANADA product and then get solutions on how to deal with such questions or concerns.”
This video launch also marks the first time broker-training has been approached in a practical, real-life situation, says Steve Hawrishok, President of ilscorp.com and the author of the courses. “Brokers are going to be treated to a new way of learning and it’s a great way to earn CE credits at the same time,” he said.

November 13, 2007 marks the launch of the first eight courses, including text and video versions of the following courses:

- SGI CANADA: Farm Fertilizer, Chemicals & Fodder Insurance

- SGI CANADA Farm Produce Advantage
- SGI CANADA Farm Property Advantage
The remaining four courses in this series deal with Farmers’ Liability and will be released November 30, 2007.
